According to The Financial Regulator, it is depending on the value of the property and its location if it is possible to save up to €370 on annual home insurance.
The website, www.itsyourmoney.ie, the regulator today published new online home insurance cost comparisons on a range of properties.
It found that in Dublin, the three-bedroom semi-detached house in Dublin 15 ranged from €409 to €705, while it could cost between €158 and €301 to insure a two-bedroom cottage in Co Monaghan.
Sharon Donnery, the Regulator’s Head of Consumer Information said ‘With many people concerned about managing their household budgets, these online home insurance cost comparisons will come as good news.
